ProxySQL is a high performance proxy for MySQL and its forks. One of the key features is its ability to handle hundreds of thousands of connections with very low overhead. Datadog is a monitoring service for cloud-scale applications, bringing together data from servers, databases, tools, and services to present a unified view of an entire stack.

Many web hosting provider are looking for HA solution for the database backend they deliver to their customers.

Galera never became the perfect choice for these environment due to 2 factors:

In my previous blog post, I showed how to use bash scripts and move virtual IPs with Orchestrator. As in that post, I assume you already have Orchestrator working. If not, you can find the installation steps here.
