MySQL Cluster 7.2.19 Released



The binary and source versions of MySQL Cluster 7.2.19 have now been made available at http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/cluster/7.2.html.

MySQL Cluster NDB 7.2.19 is a maintenance release of MySQL Cluster, incorporating fixes for bugs found in previous MySQL Cluster NDB 7.2 development releases.

MySQL Cluster NDB 7.2.19 source code and binaries can be obtained from here.

Percona Toolkit 2.2.13 is now available

Percona is pleased to announce the availability of Percona Toolkit 2.2.13.  Released January 26, 2015. Percona Toolkit is a collection of advanced command-line tools to perform a variety of MySQL server and system tasks that are too difficult or complex for DBAs to perform manually. Percona Toolkit, like all Percona software, is free and open source.

This release is the current GA (Generally Available) stable release in the 2.2 series. It includes multiple bug fixes for pt-table-checksum with better support for Percona XtraDB Cluster, various other fixes, as well as continued preparation for MySQL 5.7 compatibility. Changing my blog to use MySQL 5.7 proposed defaults

In my recent blog post, I announced a set of proposed changes to defaults for MySQL 5.7.

I'm now using these settings on my WordPress blog, which is powered by MyQL 5.7.5. The supplimental config file comes from my GitHub project called mysql-compatibility-config.

Here were the steps required:
