MyCon & Mascon: Issue Notice: BLOB columns

It was brought to our attention that some MySQL server versions, ex. 4.1.14, responds with a result containing blob columns from certain types of SQL statements, ex. "show create table abc", yet, the columns are not marked with the blob_flag by MySQL, and therefore are these columns not presented as blobs in MyCon.

You can correct this issue now immediately in MyCon by downloading the SciBit libmysql.dll and specifying the ClientLibrary driver and this dll for your MySQL connections, as it will automatically correct this issue.

MyCon's Direct driver will contain this update with the next release.

All MyCon versions minimize their feature-set to equal that of MyCon Free when the expiry date is reached, and therefore will a MyCon Free user not notice any difference even after the expiry date (as their minimized features equals their current features).

Registered customers (who bought a license) get licenses which expires on 9999-12-31, and will …
