Percona Live 2026 Amsterdam is an open source database conference bringing together engineers, DBAs, architects, and database leaders to share technical knowledge and real-world experience.

Oracle MySQL will be represented by Henrik Ingo with his session “The Rising Tide – Update on Opening MySQL Innovation” on September 10, 5:05–5:35 PM. Henrik will share how MySQL development and governance are becoming more open, including new contributor opportunities and updates from the current roadmap.

International JavaScript Conference

MySQL will be present at the International JavaScript Conference in New York with a booth and a technical session by Scott Stroz. - Session: No SQL Required: Building MySQL-Powered RESTful Services with Node.js - Speaker: Scott Stroz, Principal Data Engineer - This session will show how to enhance Node.js applications by integrating MySQL’s REST service to create robust RESTful APIs without writing SQL. Attendees will learn how to set up and use MySQL’s native REST capabilities for seamless CRUD operations directly from Node.js applications. Session times will be listed in EDT once the final agenda is available.

Community Over Code

Heather VanCura will participate in Community over Code 2026 in Glasgow as part of her EMEA and LAD community activities. It is an important open source community event, and Heather will deliver a keynote focused on open source community collaboration and engagement.
