Using Triggers in MySQL

Triggers are named objects that contain code.You create triggers within a database and associate them with a specific table. They are activated automatically for each row when table data is modified. You can use triggers to examine data, verify deletes or updates, modify data that is out of range, log data modifications, and create summaries as data is modified.
