Keith Murphy managed to take painstaking notes with all the facts and figures. As well, Venu Anuganti presents a chart with the results as well as notes on the more detailed answers. Ronald Bradford has a brief summary of the 20 seconds of wisdom from each panelist.

Jonathan Schwartz's Keynote at the 2008 MySQL Conference

Firstly, I finally realized who Jonathan Schwartz reminds me of:

That's right, comedian and magician Penn Jillette.

Schwartz started by saying, "enough of this free software stuff!" It got lots of laughs. He started to talk about Sun's agenda, and mentioned that MySQL and Sun had similar values, as well as similar dysfunctions as well -- particularly that each engineer has his/her own opinion.

Replication Presentation at the November 2007 Boston MySQL User Group

Patrick Galbraith, former MySQL employee who helped write replication, came to the November 2007 Boston MySQL User Group and did a fantastic presentation on replication, including showing how to set up replication and walking us through the steps in real-time, setting up an example server.

Video - MySQL Questions: Corruption and Upgrades

MySQL Boston September/October 2007 User Group

Before the MySQL Proxy tutorial at the September/October Boston MySQL User Group, we had a few questions. This video has those questions -- odd myisam corruption from having 2 machines with the same server-id and a question on upgrading Mysql from 3 to 5, with a followup on how to figure out when to upgrade.

Community-Based Testing with Skoll - Presentation at MySQL Camp II (Aug 2007)

Skoll is a Community-Based Testing project out of the University of Maryland. Their first testing framework comes for MySQL. Watch Sandro Fouché, graduate researcher on this project, take you through what Skoll is, how it's beneficial, and how you can use it with an actual demo.
